UIN Online - Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of Indonesia Republic (RI) was amazed with the tag-line of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN Alauddin) Makassar as ‘civilization campus’. Ali Masykur Musa, the deputy chief of BPK-RI, in his visit, said that UIN Alauddin essentially used the concept of civilization. Samata, Wednesday (03/05).

"I was very amazed with the tag-line of this campus, civilization. This was really a civil concept that was applied by our Prophet Muhammad. I'm lucky to be here, so that I can be more civilized," said Ali. This statement was delivered to all participants of the public lecture in front of the students and the deans.

The Man grew up in Islamic boarding school also added that there were two things that need to be observed from civilized word. First, it begins with the advance of science. Second, the civilization is not a dichotomy. If a Moslem becomes a leader, he should make a dichotomy to other religions.

"Medina city is a civilization embryo for the surrounding. I hope that UIN Alauddin also could be the embryo for the State. More than that, hopefully, we can create the future leaders of the nation that is the good model to others," added this PMII activist firmly.
