UIN Online – H. Alimuddin Tahir has become a guide in singing regular KKN (internship) songs of UIN Alauddin Makassar for 15 years. Alimuddin who used to be the best Qari of South Sulawesi admitted that he stood as a guide for 15 years because no one could replace him.

"Moreover, no one masters the Egyptian songs," he said.

He further said that a remarkable development was also seen since IAIN's name had been converted to UIN. "This includes the increasing of the number of faculties and facilities owned," he continued.

He also expected that the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Alauddin can be the superior in the future.
