UIN Online - Student Association (HMJ) of Urban and Regional Planning (PWK) of Science and Technology Faculty (FST) of State Islamic University (UIN) of Alauddin Makassar held seminar land use control. Samata, Monday, April 7, 2014.
This activity raised the theme "Towards a Consistent and Sustainable Development". The seminar took place at the Training Center (TC) of UIN Alauddin.
There were four speakers in this event, they are, Ludhfi Hamri (the Staff of The Spatial Planning of Directorate General of Central Public Works), Andi Yunita (the staff of Spatial Planning Department of South Sulawesi Province), Turman Siregar (the Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Police of South Sulawesi), and Jamaluddin Jahid (the Chief of the Planner Association of South Sulawesi Province).
The chief of HMJ, Ilham stated that the development in Indonesia, especially in South Sulawesi and Makassar tent to not be consistent and sustainable to its spatial use pattern.
"We need to know that sometimes the solution in spatial use today can be a problem in the future. Therefore, we ought to develop the consistent and sustainable building," he added.
