UIN Online - Kasman Suherman, the sixth semester students of Technical Informatics Department of Science and Technology Faculty (Saintek) Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN Alauddin), stated that he almost mortgaged his motorcycle in order to follow the Indonesian Robot Contest (KR ). He almost did it because the robot creation high financing reached the amount till forty million Rupiahs. Samata, Tuesday (02/11).

Besides Kasman, there were also Amar Ma'Ruf, Abdul Haafiz, Rahmat Hidayat and Alfian who almost did the same recklessness. They are a team in making robot plans. In Saintek, they are the members of UIN Alauddin Robotics community.

"All praises to Allah, our team can pass at the first phase, but at the second phase, we are constrained by the funding. So that is why we think of mortgaging our motorcycle at first," he said it when facing Prof. Qadir Gassing, Rector of UIN Alauddin.

Vice Rector of Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Natsir Siola who had followed the meeting said that this was what Saintek for. "Researching and creating new things are Saintek identity. Not do anarchistic demonstration, this is what should be developed to achieve a more civilized campus, "he added.

Rector was very excited to hear the report from Vice Rector III. This number one person of UIN Alauddin also said that he would support this Robotics contest and research seriously.
